In two days, we will be in 2019. A new year, a new me? Some people think the New Year is made for change, it is made for becoming a new person, to achieve new goals. Is it the right way to approach it?

I was like that too. When it was the New Year, I would wish for things I didn't have and would wish to erase the bad things that had happened in the year before. I then realized that life isn't about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself.

A lot of people take the opportunity of a new year starting to say they will make changes and they will start doing things like going to the gym, eat healthier, smile more, wake up earlier, etc. You know the drill.

Do you know it takes 28 days to create a habit?

You won't wake up on January 1st and be different. You will have to work hard every day to create some habits you don't have yet. Every day, set a reminder. Write your goals in your agenda and make a plan on how you are going to achieve them. For example, if you want to start eating healthy and train:

  1. Hire a personal trainer (I'm currently taking new clients, contact me) who will create a customized training plan and meal plan according to your time and level.

  2. Schedule a time to cook your meals for the week.

  3. Write down your workouts days in your agenda.

  4. Don't stop!

  5. It might be hard, but you'll be thankful you didn't stop 6 months from now.

Whatever your New Year wishes might be, I wish you a Happy New Year full of happiness, health, kindness and good times.
